Condro-Vet for Cats and Dogs is its first product

The experience accumulated since 1975 in the produce of Glycosaminoglycanes, and its therapeutic use as an inhibitor of joint cartilage wear, encouraged us to manufacture our own veterinary specialities addressed to animals suffering from these types of pathologies.

The improvement of life quality of pet animals has caused an increase in their average life expectancy and, therefore, among them degenerative and joint health problems have become common.

Just as happened to mankind, better health care and nutrition of pet animals has caused an important increase in the animals’ average life spans, therefore increasing geriatric problems and an occurrence of degenerative and joint problems, that until then were rare.

In the equine sector joint problems are today the cause of most medical queries, more so than other pathologies.

The first ever product introduced by the Veterinary Specialities Division is CONTRO-VET Cats and Dogs. A product based on Chondroitin sulfate, it is recommended for animals taking part in contests, big breed puppies in their growing stage, racers susceptible of suffering from hip dysplasia and animals of old age suffering from a significant degeneration of the joint cartilage.
